Duck is a polite pannier tank engine from the GWR. He was first released in 1986 by using the Hornby 57xx class tooling. However throughout the 1990's his model was quietly retired from the range, being produced from 1986 to 1991 and reintroduced again in 1995, being produced until 2011. His model has now been retired from the range.
Trivia
- Much like Gordon, Duck's face is darker than the usual grey.
- Duck had his prototype face when he was featured in the 1987 catalogue
- Duck's wheel arches are green when they should be black.
- Duck is the only model to be looking to the side rather than straight ahead like all the other engines.
