Emily is a beautiful dark green engine. She was first released by Hornby in 2007, although she was meant to be released in 2006, but her release was delayed until January 29th, 2007. Her model is currently discontinued from the range.
Trivia
- Emily's model is actually a repainted and modified GWR Dean Achilles Class locomotive. However, this has been highly criticized by modelers, as it is very inaccurate to Emily's true basis, the GNR Stirling Single.
- Emily is the only female engine made by Hornby.
- Her coal load is removable.
